Brian has
over 25 years of rolling up his sleeves in tech, strategy, and leadership. He
kicked things off as a Physics teacher, so making the complicated feel
practical is second nature. Since then, he’s built and grown tech companies,
wrangled high schoolers, led fire crews as chief, and sat on boards for
banks, schools, and nonprofits. From handling classroom chaos to managing
crises, he’s learned that leadership and process come first. And when
it comes to AI or automation, Brian’s blunt: “Technology amplifies process quality . . . good or bad.” His work
and stories are filled with real-world strategy, hard-earned leadership
lessons, humor, and naturally, updates on the never-ending epic battle
between the passive aggressive golden retriever he never asked for, the
autonomous AI lawnmower committed to its mission regardless of consequences,
and Brian himself . . . serving as part engineer, part referee, and part
hostage negotiator in the ongoing struggle between K-9 intimidation, silicon
persistence, and a continued escalation that has raised deeply philosophical
questions about what truly qualifies as an “obstacle.” Beyond the
stories and lessons, Brian is in the trenches with these companies, helping
them not just adopt AI, but build real strategies around it. Strategies that grow what they’re doing,
But I always bring them back to the basics: people, process, and technology.
You can’t skip the training or the people element. Brian makes sure
leadership teams get that because if they don’t align those three, all the
tech in the world won’t save you. That’s how we create sustainable growth,
not just quick fixes. In the
end, Brian helps organizations see that if you get your processes right
first, the tech will take you even further.
If you get the people onboard and trained the technology will become a
force multiplier. NGS - Technology with Purpose.
